From epinions.com I stayed at Dolphin Square Hotel for 2 nights in August 2003. The hotel is located in a plush and quiet residential area. Although not right in the centre of London, it is less than a 5-minute walk to Pimlico Underground Station and around the corner from the local bus stop, serving very frequent bus route: 24 - travelling through Trafalgar Square and Oxford Street. The staff, from receptionists to housekeeping, were very polite and welcoming. Checking in was a breeze, as was checking out, and although we had very little luggage we were still presented with the services of a concierge. The reception area was very modern, clean and presentable. The reception area also leads into the hotel`s shopping arcade, which was immensely convenient. It contained numerous shops, including a pharmacy, newsagent and off license, all accessible without having to leave the hotel. From epinions.com The hotel was spectacularly clean throughout, including corridors and stairwells. There were 2 lifts and we were located on the 5th floor with a north facing view with London Eye, Big Ben, Houses of Parliament and BT tower all visible. What can I say about the suite` It was big! It was magnificent! It is by far the best hotel room I have stayed in. There wasn`t a speck of dust anywhere. It was like having your own luxury apartment! The front door opened into a well-lit hallway with 2 doors either side. One room comprised of the sitting room and fully-equipped kitchen and the other comprised of the bedroom and very brightly-lit en-suite bathroom, the décor throughout was in calming pastel colours; the furniture was very modern and seemed brand new. The little touches is what I think makes this hotel shine ` such as a complimentary `The Times` newspaper delivered to you, a vase, room keys for each occupant and a fan.
